TribeHired disrupts the hiring process with its “talent-centric approach” for each talent that go live on the platform through mentoring, upskilling and coaching.
But, we did not want to stop there! Last weekend, we picked 6 talent connected to us through our community to play an Escape Room adventure on 8th August 2015 , with the TribeHired team.
As a special bonus, we picked one of the winners of our code challenge to participate.
A little bit about the participants.
Zebel, a fresh graduate and foreign national, who does native android- was recently placed in an amazing company through TribeHired. He was thrilled with excitement, to first get a job before his final exams (as he doesn’t need to worry about his employment anymore) and second to know that we selected him to go out and have fun. In his words. “You guys are awesome! You made my life easier and I will recommend everyone I know to you guys so that you can help them”. He actually brought in a friend (Abid) to play along!
Marco, a local RoR developer, has been a fan of our community and has been in constant touch to recommend friends who want to work for creative startups. He brought in a friend (Tony) as well to compete in the Escape Room. Both of them enjoyed the experience and were delighted to meet and co-work as a team with other developers.
Naz from Syria, one of the participants, recently got acquired by KFIT through TribeHired within a week of getting featured. He said, “I love TribeHired’s efficient process and speed of getting opportunities in companies that are amazing and fun to work with. I have never experienced such a productive and fast hiring tool and I was so excited to get an opportunity. You guys rock man!”.
We also gave a free-pass to one our coding dare highest scorers- Lazizhon from SEGi. He is a final year IT student and was surprised to know how TribeHired is impacting the hiring industry. He mentioned to us, ‘I never expected that a company in the hiring industry is so cool and awesome. I was actually worried about finding a job soon and I am glad I found you guys somehow’. Just one game, impacted one life and through Laz, we’re soon looking at running an event in SEGi!
How we ran the Escape room event:
We split into 2 teams of 4 members each and competed against each other to win and score the best time!
Team 1, led by TribeHired’s co-founder-Ajay, Marco, Zebel and Abid not only won, but also scored the best time for the entire week and was placed first all over Malaysia for the “Mysterious Room” game.
Team 2, led by TribeHired staff- KC, Tony, Naz and Lazishon also won their game (Prison Break) and were placed fourth on the best time for the week! The energy of both teams was great and everyone was excited to play, compete and win!
